Loch-NessSeaforth Cottage is only 30 miles from From the vibrant city of Inverness and Loch Ness (Home of Nessie the Loch Ness monster) through the Caledonian Canal to Fort William the adventure capital of the UK, to the tranquil and peaceful Islands, the Inner and Outer Hebrides, and the Isle of Skye (great place for sunsets), its a place that has something for everyone.

The Strathconon Highland games are a great spectacle in such a wonderful setting. The glen has no shops or restaurants but the Market town of Dingwall is only 13 miles and has supermarkets, restaurants and shopping along with the Highlands livestock market which is an interesting sight on market day. Contin (12 miles) has a lovely Country House Hotel with good food and a village shop.A day trip to the west coast with Ullapool, the ferry port to the Outer Hebrides within an hours drive. Inverness, the Highland capital has boat trips on Loch Ness excellent restaurants and lively pubs with music and a riverside theater. Chanory point on the Black Isle is a good spot to view the Moray firth dolphins and the villages of Fortrose, Rosemarkie and Cromarty are charming discoveries.
